Second Reunion
June 2000

The second reunion has come and gone.  Had 52 crew members & 23 guests. The Banquet dinner was excellent. The 4th Capt of the Forrest Sherman Capt Fred Kelly gave a short speech. We had plank owners to men that decommissioned the ship.  It was like old home week, for most of us, after almost 40 years. The names were the same, but the bodies were sure different. Fun was had by all. Except for rain, everything went well.  A special thanx to Bob Mehlrose for planning and making this a very successful reunion for all of us.   To see the pix, please click here>

Third BIANNUAL Reunion

April 2002

The reunion was held in April in Ocean City, MD. for 3 days.  It was a wonderful time.  With over 100 past crewmembers showing, many a sea story was told and old friendships renewed.  VADM George Nanos, Jr., (former Engineering Officer) was our guest speaker.

Fifth BIANNUAL Reunion
Sept. 17-21, 2006

The 5^th bi-annual reunion was held at the Dunes Manor Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland from Sunday, September 17th through Thursday, September 21st, 2006.  A great time was had by all.
