Seventh Biannual
Reunion to come
The 2012 Reunion of the crew and friends of the USS FORREST SHERMAN
DD-931 will be held at the Dunes Manor Hotel, in Ocean City, from
Sunday, May 20, 2012 until Wednesday, May 23, 2012 or longer if you wish
to stay for some extra days. This has been the site of some of our most
successful reunions. All the rooms are ocean front with private
balconies overlooking the Atlantic. This time of the year is prime
beach time. You may visit this excellent hotel at

First Reunion
This reunion was organized by Bob
Mehlrose. Not many people but the spirit was there |

Second Reunion
June 2000
The second reunion has come and gone. Had 52 crew
members & 23 guests. The Banquet dinner was excellent. The 4th Capt of
the Forrest Sherman Capt Fred Kelly gave a short speech. We had plank
owners to men that decommissioned the ship. It was like old home week,
for most of us, after almost 40 years. The names were the same, but the
bodies were sure different. Fun was had by all. Except for rain,
everything went well. A special thanx to Bob Mehlrose for planning and

Third BIANNUAL Reunion
April 2002
The reunion was held in April in Ocean City, MD. for
3 days. It was a wonderful time. With over 100 past crewmembers
showing, many a sea story was told and old friendships renewed. VADM
George Nanos, Jr., (former Engineering Officer) was our guest speaker.

Fifth BIANNUAL Reunion
Sept. 17-21, 2006
The 5th bi-annual
reunion was held at the Dunes Manor Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland from
Sunday, September 17th through Thursday, September 21st, 2006. A
great time was had by all.
